В Кении для местных жителей возможность обучать своих детей -это залог будущего развития и благополучия. Став волонтером, ты можешь привнести много новых знаний в жизнь местной коммуны, а также научиться многому сам! Обучай, чтобы расширить границы и «границы».

Project name: Teaching activities with kids in Kiburanga

Location: Kuria (Kenya)

Duration: three months

Description: Kiburanga Women's Self-Help Group is a grassroot organization that was created in 2007. Their OBJECTIVES are: Involve women in economic development and in the fight against HIV/AIDS and drug abuse; Develop Kuria's cultural center and Conserve environment. They focused their attention at the need of better education for the kids in the community for their future and development. The volunteer would be of great output to the community as they will add more value, like teaching foreign languages to the local and teachers and pass on their skills and experience. TEACH FOR THE WORLD.

Work: Teaching, playing with kids, visiting various schools, career guiding, coaching in games.

Requirements: willingness to work in a challenging environment, commitment to offer service.

Accommodation: majority of homes don’t have electricity, no showers are available but a basin to bathe, latrine instead of toilet.

Food: food in the Community, access to clean water.

Pocket money: none.

Fees: 230 EUR per month, which includes accommodation, lodging, food and transport.

Insurance: Volunteer has to organize the insurance by him/herself.

Visa: Visa costs have to be covered by volunteer.
